wea.cgi: Weather forecast for Louisville area (CGI client/server, data collection takes about half a minute). The Perl 5 source is at wea. It also works from the command line and as a mailing list server.

inspec2bib: Convert bibliography from INSPEC to BibTeX format. Assumes WWW OCLC format for INSPEC entries. If you are in louisville.edu domain you can connect to INSPEC at http://www.louisville.edu/cgi-bin/library/inspec.scr.

mmapic: Mathematica PostScript figure converter. Allows typesetting of all text labels by TeX and direct inclusion of PDF figures by pdflatex.

up2: A wrapper for pstops useful for creating booklets in a variety of formats.

fontprep: Yet another virtual font installer for TeX. Works as a frontend to fontinst package. Tries to assign the weight in an intelligent way. Requires urw.common.

fontstrip: Substitutes bitmap fonts with their scalable Type 1 versions in Postscript files generated by dvips.

pbmtek: Display a PBM file on a Tektronix 40xx graphics terminal emulator (such as CONEX).

las: Executes the "last" command in parallel on a cluster of workstation to find out if somebody was logged in.
